Zombies Invade Minecraft!

Meeting others in the world of Minecraft is a good thing, right? Except WHEN THEY’VE ALL TURNED INTO ZOMBIES!

Mustard Virus modpack turns the usual happy-go-lucky world of Minecraft into a zombie apocalypse, and it’s your job to survive for as long as you can.

The zombies in Mustard Virus are a little different from the ones in the base game. In vanilla Minecraft, protecting yourself from zombies is a breeze; just grab some diamond gear, close a door, and you’re good to go.

In Mustard Virus, the zombies are more powerful. They may walk slower in this mod pack, but they also have the ability to destroy your base. This means you’ll need to keep your house protected from outside threats.

The modpack also features a Zombie Awareness modpack. This replaces the default zombie behavior, allowing them to track you down from sound and light. If you try to light up your base to stop zombie spawns, you end up bringing them to your home instead. Yikes.

Thinking of hiding in the sun?

Don’t bother; the modpack stops the zombies from burning during the day. And if you’re planning to hide in your home all the time, the mod comes with some survival add-ons that force you to find resources to stay alive.

Mustard Virus even takes popular mechanics from other games and adds them into Minecraft. If you’re a fan of Terraria, you’ll know of the blood moon, which brings a horde
of monsters to your base. You’ll be pleased to know (evil laugh) that the modpack adds this to the game too, making surviving even harder.

That’s not to say that the game doesn’t lend you a hand. The modpack comes with a bunch of furniture mods and some nice biome and inventory tweaks for a better experience. And you’ll be pleased to hear that you have Security Craft, which gives you sentry guns, security cameras, mines, and electric fences to keep the zombies at bay.

Think you have what it takes? Be sure to download Mustard Virus and show the zombie apocalypse what you’re made of. How long can you survive?
